How do I add my skills to my profile?

Adepto is a talent platform centred around skills. You will see on your profile that there are many areas that skills can be added:

• Overview in the Summary,
• associated to each Experience, 
• associated to your Education,
• associated to your Goals and Aspirations.
• (additionally, some organisations also have their own skills groups - see separate article)

 

Adding skills to your profile helps the Hiring Manager quickly identify the stuff you're good at so add as many as you can!

When you start typing your skill description, you will see matches from the Global Skills taxonomy appear in a list. Pick one. To help you, Adepto will offer you other similar skills suggestions from the taxonomy to allow you to pick quickly and easily. 

Add as many skills as are relevant then remember to click 'Update'.
