So, you are looking to take your career to the next level within your organisation?
Well then, the Explore page (Beta) is the first place you can go to find new Opportunities that best suit your skills and aspirations for the future. Think of the Explore page as your networks very own jobs board: -
Managers in your network create a new Job where they detail the required skills, location, job description and upload supporting documents. They then hit "Publish" and share the Job with the entire network. Here's where you come in - you can then proactively view and express interest in the Opportunity if it catches your eye. Here are a few things that will help you know if you should express interest in the role: -
- Skills - do the skills the Manager has detailed match the skills and experiences in your profile?
- Location - Is the Opportunity located in a place that you can travel to/live in?
- Job Description - Do the specifics of the Opportunity look like they can help you grow your career in the direction you want to take it?
If all signs point to yes, then you have found an Opportunity that matches some of your skills and experiences. so you can express interest by clicking "I'm Interested".
Once you've expressed interest, Managers will be notified and will then view your profile and contact you directly if they require any further information - so best to keep everything fresh!
You will receive updates via email when new Opportunities arise that match some of the skills you have added to your profile, so it is important to make sure your profile is kept up to date. We recommend jumping back into your profile and adding suggested skills based on what you have already entered or, if you haven't already, scanning your Resume to automatically copy over the skills and experiences that already exist in your CV!
